This picture is about the situation when one’s whole life fits into one decrepit chair in the form of old newspapers that no one needs. Even mice are not interested in it.
However, I didn’t start with color for nothing. It is above all a hope for me. The hope that this man has left something else behind him besides a stack of newspapers. It could be kindness, tenderness, love, and memory. An invisible trail that a good person leaves behind can only be expressed by means of color.
