Painting Overview
I have thought for a long time about how this still life should be named. I’d like to paint more and more of these old and forgotten by society things. Nobody wishes to possess them any more. The way that they look triggers amusement and surprise at the same time. However, imagine how important this miserable telephone set was in the middle of the last century.
It is noticeable that this is a service phone, which is equipped with some kind of extra buttons which look rather strange.
Everything associated with the public services from that time makes me gloomy. I can imagine how many secrets are being stored in this device. How many destinies have been predetermined with the help of this phone.
Perhaps you have got completely different associations with telephones from the past? The opposite is quite romantic and fun.
Think of any other story. This phone is simply a trigger, bringing you back to that time, provided you wish to be brought back.
