Painting Overview
More and more countries around the world are becoming free from prejudice, and now it’s the Czech Republic’s turn. Very soon, they will be entering the legal area for the use of marijuana, and my attitude towards this event is extremely positive. I’m generally against bans of anything, no matter what it’s caused by – religion, law, false morality, or simple human stupidity.
I drew this picture four years ago, and I couldn’t tell if it was finished or not. Now I understand that it’s complete. Despite my enthusiasm, you can’t help but notice the mourning ribbon around the plant, but very correct and truthful words are written on it – a paradox.
Statistics show that no one has ever died from the use of marijuana, and that’s true, but the words on the ribbon still stand – “Don’t make yourself an idol.
