That sounds pretty absurd, and there doesn’t seem to be a direct connection. That’s what I thought until I started painting this piece. At first, it was just geese on a shady lawn. Then a creepy barn appeared, and two weeks later, as the cherry on top, our planet emerged in the sky.
This leads to the question: where are the geese grazing?
And here’s my comprehensive answer: I have no idea!
That’s not part of my job description. My task is to pose questions, to intrigue you, to surprise you, to leave you puzzled or even just to make you laugh. That’s what this painting is all about—whatever interpretation you prefer.
