ShulmanArt.com is operated by a sole trader (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic.

ShulmanArt.com operates as an independent online art gallery and intermediary for the presentation and sale of original artworks.

Business activities: Intermediation of trade and services, wholesale and retail trade, operation of cultural, cultural-educational and entertainment facilities and organization of cultural productions, events, exhibitions, fairs and similar events.

Igor Andrianov worked under the pseudonym Igor Shulman.

The website presents artworks created by Igor Shulman as well as artworks offered by third-party collectors and owners. The website operator does not claim ownership of copyright in artworks created by third-party artists.

Delivery terms

Generally we deliver your orders free of charge. If however you choose to have a painting on a stretcher, we’ll have to charge you. The corresponding cost you can see in the delivery cost section.

Once we get your order, you will receive a copy of the order to your specified email address.

As most of the items are in stock, we try to do our best to send you the painting within 2 or 3 days from the receipt of your order. As a rule you can expect to receive your order within 5-7 days. Should some sort of a delay occur, please allow up to 2 weeks for the parcel to reach you. Those cases are quite rare however.

Delivery costs

We’ve two options for you. Either we roll the artwork in a tube and ship it to you for free, or you receive the painting which is already placed onto the stretcher.

Please be advised that it takes 5 to 7 business days for artworks to be dispatched from Czech Republic.

Return policy

The top priority for ShulmanArt.com is the satisfaction of each and every customer. Should you feel yourself not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can always use your right to cancel your order within 30 days after its receipt without giving any reason for cancelling.

Should you have a desire to benefit from this right, just get in touch with us by dropping a line with your order number to [email protected]. After that you should return your purchased item to the entrepreneur, including all of the accessories and — if that’s possible — in its original package and condition.

Please be advised, that only the cost of the purchased items (items) will be returned. In any case you’re not entitled to claim the refund either for the shipping of the product to you or for the return of the purchased item to us.
We will make a refund within 30 days from receiving the purchased item (items).

Copyright and Nature of Services

Copyright and promotion of artworks

ShulmanArt.com operates as an independent online art gallery and intermediary for the presentation and sale of original artworks. The website operator does not claim ownership of the copyright in artworks created by third-party artists.

In accordance with Section 32 of Act No. 121/2000 Coll., the Copyright Act of the Czech Republic, artworks may be used to the extent necessary for the promotion of an exhibition or the sale of original artworks or reproductions. This includes the display of photographs, titles, authorship information, dimensions and other information reasonably necessary to present and promote a particular artwork for sale.

Where an artwork is offered through ShulmanArt.com on behalf of a third-party collector or other owner, the relevant owner confirms that they have lawfully acquired ownership of the physical artwork and have the right to offer it for sale.

By offering an artwork for sale through ShulmanArt.com, the owner authorizes the website operator to display and reproduce photographs of the artwork and related factual information solely to present, promote and facilitate the sale of that specific original artwork. Such authorization may be provided in writing, including by email.

The authorization described above does not constitute a transfer or assignment of copyright in the artwork. Copyright remains with the respective author or other person legally entitled to it.

ShulmanArt.com may remove or temporarily disable the presentation of an artwork where a credible claim concerning ownership, copyright or other rights is raised, pending clarification of the relevant legal circumstances.
