My next chandelier appeared in a completely unexpected state—twilight. Perhaps in a minute it will burst forth with all its lights, dissolving the gloom. But for now, it sleeps, guarding the twilight even though it should be banishing the darkness.
It’s a very strange state, one of expectation and anticipation of light. I find this moment both intriguing and exciting.
