Painting Overview
This is the first painting I’ve done this year. Actually it is more of a holiday joke than a painting itself.
I’ve decided to do it in magenta. The only reason for such a decision was that magenta is my favorite color. I would not have done so if some clever guy had declared magenta to be the color of the year.
I know what is going on. I’m aware of symbolism, and I know that what is going on nowadays is rather silly.
Take a closer look at the picture. Something is incorrect here. It must be a magenta thing!
People are transforming themselves into half-forgotten creatures from legends and fairy tales. However, not all of them do so. They are transforming into somebody else while still remaining human beings. This is only my sick imagination, of course.
