A sketch is your thought clothed in some pictorial form. And if you think that a sketch can be an independent artwork, you are right! Often the sketch is superior to the main work. Even more often sketch does not grow into something more voluminous, but remains at the level of sketch.
The theme doesn’t require development or continuation. The message is already there.
