An unremarkable Mediterranean courtyard. Life seems to have stopped here 100 years ago. The same thing happens every day. Every day, day after day. One generation succeeds another and again nothing happens. As you know, the best is the enemy of the good. So why get better when things are already good? This is the normal view of life from the point of view of the islanders. God be with the island. This is the view of that part of mankind who do not need changes in life. Who are fine. I’ve been to these beautiful places and I’ll probably go again. But only on vacation. And then back home to work, to move, to live my hectic life.
