Painting Overview

There are many opinions about morality and its relationship to religion. I don’t see a direct connection, but some people—especially devout believers—are convinced otherwise. I think it is just an empty declaration of morality. I believe physiology and instincts often trump religious dogma, or that hypocrisy and lies come to the surface.

I may be overly cynical in my reasoning, but my life experience tells me I am right on this issue.
