The Church of the Incarnation is a parish of the Diocese of Dallas of the Episcopal Church, located at 3966 McKinney Avenue in Dallas, Texas. The church was founded in 1879 by Bishop Alexander Garrett as the Cathedral Chapel of the Incarnation.
The service reflected on Psalm 88, which opens with the words:
“Let my prayer come before you; incline your ear to my cry!”
The artwork was used with the artist’s permission, offering a visual meditation on the theme of human despair and the search for hope beyond it.
